My name is Rachel Smalter Hall, and I’m a former public librarian turned editor and executive producer. Two of my top three loves include audiobooks and knitting, and my favorite song is Cold Hearted Snake as performed by Alyssa Edwards and Coco Montrese on season 5 of RuPaul’s Drag Race.
I grew up in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, in a family of seven that donned bathrobes and towels for our yearly theatrical Christmas Pageant. Since then I’ve lived in Vermont, Minneapolis, Kansas City, Rome, and now New York where I knit stuff with my rad knitting group, listen to audiobooks with my family, and drink beer with my co-ed book club.
Hop on over to “Editing Portfolio” to view projects that I acquired, developed, and produced for Audible Originals, and to “Writing Samples” to see some of my writing for Library Journal, Public Library Quarterly, Audible, and Book Riot. Thanks for stopping by and looking around!
